Default Problems with firefox, IE. Keep crashing on me HELP!!!!?

My web browsers, no matter which one I use, firefox, Internet explorer or google chrome, keep randomly crashing. Ill be in the middle of doing something then it just closes by its self. Any ideas what it could be, I did a virus scan and no sign of a virus.

Msn Messenger did it once too.

A virus scan is good but unfortunately not the be-all-and-end-all of protecting our computers these days. Try this thorough clean as per this guide and see if it helps:
http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407

And before you try that, you could try this:

Press and hold the Windows key on your keyboard and now press the R - release both keys.

Type this exactly as written (or copy and paste) into the text box that comes up (one space which is after c and double n):
sfc /scannow

Click OK.

This may ask for your Windows disk and could take anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour. What is happening is that you have told the computer to check the System files and replace any as needed. Sometimes system files get damaged, deleted or replaced, especially when dealing with viruses.

Hopefully one of those answers will fix your problem. If not, either post your logs in the forum where that guide leads you and get help (especially if any malicious software such as viruses was found) or ask in the Software forum at the same site - there's some really knowledgeable people there.
