Default Is the Microsoft Wirless Network Adapter the only adapter you can use to

connect to the xbox 360? Well, I was just wondering cause I have a D-link WUA-2340 adapter and was wondering if I could use that? or u can only use the micrsoft wirless network adapter?($100 one)

I believe the wireless dongle is the only choice you have if you want to use an adapter, but as a previous poster said, there is a fairly painless alternative if you can just hook your 360 up to one of your PCs and then use the wireless signal that way.

For a full tutorial on how to do it, check the 'source' below. ^^ There's a guide on how to configure your OS and setup to do this. Much cheaper!

You have two options...

1) Buy the over priced wifi dongle from Microsoft.

OR...

2) Take a short CAT-5 Cable and hook it to a already wifi setup PC/notebook (notebook would be best of course) and simple "port" the internet through the computer for a suedo "wireless-live" experiance.
