I have Microsoft Outlook, and don't use it for e-mail but for contact storage & can't get it to work on 2 computers. Didn't know if you can do this? Or if something is wrong with the Networking of the computers? (Please don't answer if you don't know)

The problem isn't that we are trying to access it both at one time, the problem is that if my computer can open it, hers can't and vise vera (I mean like we have to restart both computers to make it accessable to the other person) |

I'm assuming you are using Outlook to send/receive email on a POP account. If this is correct, Outlook stores everything in a single file called outlook.pst.
You can move this file to different locations, however only one computer can have it open at one time. One alternative is to export the file on one Outlook to a shared folder and import the data in the Outlook on the other computer. This might be useful if your data does not change that often. Another consideration, I believe you can configure Windows Live Mail to a POP account. This way you would be able to login to each computer and see the same data always |
