do you use this?does it ever find anytning?

Its a very poor program detection rate 48% in short crap.

This free program does a better job & its free:

It seems to run in the background and do it's thing. I would leave it alone and use real anti-spyware programs like Ad-aware and Spybot.

No single program can detect and eradicate all spyware. It is best to use multiple programs, I recommend using Ad-aware and Spybot which are among the best (they are free).

Webroot Spy Sweeper is the best, but it's not free (see the Consumer Search source for more information).

Running these programs in Safe Mode (tap F8 after powering on the computer and choose to boot to Safe Mode) can be more effective.

windows defender is ok but not the best.try using lavasoft or spybot or hijack this.windows defender is low and uses system resources for no reason.spyware was trying to be installed through internet explorer's active x and spybot warned me aobut the registry change while winwdows defender didnt alert me at all.i uninstalled that piece of crap.
