ok i downloaded windows defender a day ago wen to update it im on dial-up and it was not finished updateing but i disconnected my internet then a few hours later i come back and connect to the internet and i get a message microsoft error report then it said view more details so i click on it and it said something about mallware yes MALLWARE 2 L's mallware signature i belive then it had like p1 and a bunch of numers and leters then p2 and so on and i went to like p8 but p5 said a name of a .dll so i looked it up on google and it said it was a microsoft .dll and when ran windows defender it said in the program error found then it said code and gave numbers and and letters . so this error report and mallware is this from windows defender not successively updating .i ran my anti-virus ,pc doctor starter edition and threat fire nothing was found so im i ok or is there MALware somewhere please help

The one and only solution.....You MUST reformat.Period.
I had the same thing happen....windows flagged me down that malware or trojan infected my registry.I had these anti-viruses scan and try to detect for two days...nothing.
1.PC Tools Anti-Virus
2.Threatfire
3.Spybot
4.Adaware
5.Bitdefender
Nothing worked because the virus had embedded itself so deep within the registry.....it could not be found,let alone removed.So you must reinstall windows.
