That's weird because I have automatic updates on and they run every day at 3PM, but one certain update fails everytime & I can't seem to fix it! I posted that in a previous question.

service pack 1 and 2 are for xp, and 2 came out about a year ago, guess you dont do ms updates. windows defender aint that great anyway. but you do have to install both service packs. you can get it at ms download site.

You'll be needing Windows XP Service Pack 2. Download it at the microsoft's website.
