Default I have both speakers and headphones at the same time in Windows 7? I have a...

...headset and I talk on vent.? I switched from XP to 7. I knew in Vista that you couldn't have both running, but I thought 7 fixed that problem...

As I said before, I have a headset which includes a mic. Putting the headset in the back only gives me the output, not input.

Not sure if your problem is that you would like to have both of them running at the same time or that you would like to NOT have both of them running?

I had a problem today when I plugged in the headphone jack and the speakers kept playing. Weird. However, I solved this by laptop reboot. Here are more details on the solution I found:
