Default Can you dual boot windows 7 and Ubuntu on two different hard drives?

I have two hard drives and would like some help in setting up a dual boot system where one OS is on one hard drive and the other OS is on the 2nd hard drive. Also please don't suggest just installing both and that is it because that isn't working even though I was told before that it would.
Another person for my blocked list. It is getting bigger.
Carl that isn't working. Have tried it and there is no dual boot. +1 to my block list.
No I am blocking people who don't offer any help. 1 or 2 line answers do me no good and I don't want to waste my time with them in other threads.
And what there suggesting is not working so I need more help.

You want to dual boot Ubuntu with Windows on 2 hard drives .Well its simple. The hard drive that contains Windows should be temporarily made offline .then follow these simple steps here After the installation , reonline your drive with windows and after a restart ,ubuntu will recognize your windows bootloader and you will get a grub menu entry .Enjoy !!

But you can make them work on one hard drive too . iahve done this on my own. Just use wubi to install Ubuntu inside Windows 7.You can see details here

Either ways you follow, make sure to give a considerable space to your root(/) partition which is atleast 8GB or more .
