I have a desktop PC running Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit). I have the 360 connected to the network by wire. So, once in a while (randomly actually) the computer will acknowledge that the 360 is in the same network and will ask if I want to set up the extender. I click on the box and it opens up Media Center.

However, I cannot get the access code, because when I go to the xbox 360 option for media center PC, it says: no media center pc available (or something like that).

I was wondering why this is happening. Previously I had it set up, but then I reinstalled Vista Ultimate and it no longer works. It is possible that I need to open up various ports?
