Default Windows media center keeps crashing?

I have windows media center with windows XP. It has worked fine since I purchased it with my new PC 8 months ago. However, recently it has started to crash whenever I scroll through the TV channels in the guide or just by switching channels with the remote control. I can still watch TV because some of the TV channels continue to work fine but whenever I scroll down to watch Film4 for example, media centre crashes and I get a message box. The message says: 'application has generated an exception that could not be handled' - it then gives and id and a thread that tend to vary upon each crash.

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Any constructive help greatly appreciated.

Default

It means that Media Center needs more internet and more RAM. Try quitting other stuff that uses internet and add more RAM and close programs that you don't need. And also Update your Media Center.
