Default window server 2003 network problem?

in windows 2003 server pc ,in network connection nothing is showing and in services "network connection " is showing starting .i restart the server in safe mode and disable network connection service and again restart .in normal mode i tried to start service but i got this error massage "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion" can u tell any solution for this problem

Well, if "in network connection nothing is showing" that usually means the driver for the NIC (network card) is not working correctly. Check the "device manager" and assure your network card is not disabled or listed under "other devices". That is where I would start.

If the card is listed in devices and still does not show under network connections, you may need to "repair" the installation. In many cases actually removing the card (or try deleting it under devices) and restarting will re setup the network system.
