I have Internet Explorer and I cannot stay online. It keeps saying I have windoes NT and I have windows xp. I do not know how to fix this problem and it is impossible to use Internet Explorer. I always get the error message from IE. What is the problem?

I cannot do anything on my computer with I keep getting kicked off. Please tell me how to fix this. It says to send the error message only nothing happens after that... no response.
