Guide To Install Linux Ubuntu On Computer With Windows 2000?
I have a Windows 2000 with a FAT hard drive and pretty little RAM. I became interested in installing Linux but I also wanted to keep Windows 2000 on the computer, just in case. Is there a guide or something that would take me step-by-step through the process to do this? I heard something about dual-booting and partitioning the hard drive, but unfortunately, I have no clue how to do this.
Or should I just try an alternative, such as backing up the Windows 2000 and installing Linux over it?
