Default Hello, i'm trying to install an email server software on a Windows 2000 Server but

im getting this error... The message that i'm getting during the installation of the email server software (hMailServer) is : The hMailServer setup has detected that one or several of the TCP/IP ports 25,110 and 143 are already in use. This indicates that there already is an email server running on this computer. If you plan to use any of these ports with hMailServer, the already existing server must be stopped.

My question is, how can i stop this service or server so i can install and use the hMailServer?

I'm running Windows 2000 Server.
Thanks

Best research it out at Microsoft.com Tons of information. But in short look at what programs are install on the server and delete the one/ones that you don't need--and are communicating through the ports you mentioned.

Good Luck
