...a windows disk. Can I repair it? My portege 2000 says: 'lass.exe- The application has failed to initialize properly (0xc00000006). Press OK to terminate the application' twice and then the start up stalls. I don't have a windows disc, because I bought the computer on ebay without one. It worked for a good 12 months before crashing. Is there a way to repair this without paying for a new windows operating system?
