And now I can't even find the Ad-Aware free download for Windows 98....all I can find on the Lavasoft/Ad-Aware website is the free download for Ad-Aware 2007, which of course won't load on Windows 98....it requires Windows 2000 or above.

SpyBot Search & Destroy is free and will work on Windows 98. The link below goes to a page on download.com where you can get the latest version. Since Lavasoft quit supporting Ad-Aware SE, SpyBot S&D is a good alternative for Windows 9x.

Similar to Ad-Aware, SpyBot needs to be updated regularly to get new definitions. Good luck!
