My windows xp will not burn cd's can you help me?

i have gotten to burn cd's before now it wont i have used differnt kinds of media, such as windows and realplayer itunes and bearshare none of them will burn cd's it will rip them but when i push burn it just f.u.c.ks up i have tried difffent burnable disks to help
