7.0..what are the advantages as my computer is working fine as is.Explain in simple language as I am not computer savvy.I just use my comp. for e-mails, IM`s, searches, games, etc. No files or electronic gadgets or games. don`t do online banking or any office or business accounts. Just simple tasks. I have Norton anit-virus installed and rec. updates.

Internet explorer 7.0 introduces tabs i.e, you can browse many pages in the same window using tabs. Also it has phishing filter that gives more security.


But I would say that firefox is more secure, versatile and customisable. It also has tabbed browsing.

Go to www.google.com and install the Google toolbar, it will keep blocking all the pop-up windows.

internet explorer 7 is much better than 6
(tabs, improved security, etc)
just install the update, its not going to kill you

its an updated version

if you want you can update it but i recommend Mozilla Firefox, it is much safer, better, and faster then Internet Explorer
