     How do i get pictures from my gateway windows 98 computer to my xp gateway computer.?

Default How do i get pictures from my gateway windows 98 computer to my xp gateway computer.?

I tried my 2 gig flash drive but my old computer does not read it. can i take the hard drive out hook it up to my xp and insert my flash drive then copy it

you dont have to do that! in order to make your old computer read it, you need the driver software. or you could tranfer files via email

If you have some sort of external storage - like an external hard drive or a flashdrive - simply copy/paste to the flashdrive, then cut/paste from the flashdrive to the new PC.

Last week I picked up a 2GB flashdrive for $9.99. Watch the weekend ads in your paper. These are usually in-store specials.

No, since Windows 98 wouldn't be able to read it any better in your XP computer.

The basic problem is that Windows 98 did not include support for Flash drives. There are drivers to help make them work, though.
