oh men, formatting your pc is so easy but when it comes to the drivers ( lil softwares installed a pc in order to the sound, video, and other devices to work properly) that can be a reason for you to think if there is a time machine to go back to the pass. But it`s not with all the pc and if your pc is not too old you won`t have much problem, but think about it if ur not down to spend more than 5 hours there dealing with it then don`t do it, you will need a lot of patient

first see that your cd should be a bootable one windows xp sp2
to know your cd is bootable restart the pc and press F8.
u see a blue screen that is bios options
now at boot priority option ensure that the first boot device is your cd rom and non other
now save the settings and exit the pc restarts keep the bootable xp cd
now a option comes boot from the cd now press enter key
if the cd is not bootable this option doesnot apper
now a blue screen apperers loads the required files to the system
after loading the cd asks for the aggrement of the licence press F8 after reading.
now the bootable cd gives the option to reinstall or format or
any other job to be performed.
its all incribed there so dont worry do want u want
after formating just press the enter key to reinstall the fresh copy of the os
it loads the files and restarts and waite for some 30 to 50 min depending on the pc.
thats it any q?s just mail me
