I have a windows 98 computer that was shut off improperly and when you try to boot it now it goes to the scan disk screen and locks up. I have tried booting into safe mode but it does the same thing. I can boot into command prompt but that doesnt really help me. Any suggestions ( besides updating my operating system i have to use 98)
well for 98 its scandisk not check disk and all that does is take me back to the scandisk screen where it locks up so
