I had my pc upgraded to xp because the at&t said i had to have it to get DSL,turns out i can't.....ineligable they say,don't know why?! But anyway i want melinnium back,my ? is can i run my recovery disk that came with this pc to put melinnium back on?

Well to answer your question, if the cd is labeled "Windows ME Reinstallation CD" then yes. You can just pop it in, restart and boot from the cd to revert back to ME, but why would you want to do that? XP is great.

Computers have moved on and you havent?
There are a lot of printers and other programs that will not work with older programs anymore. If you dont like XP you will hate Vista even more. I suggest that you keep with XP and get used to it.

XP is a much better os, but if you want to downgrade to ME then it should be doable with the recvovery disk. Reboot the machine with it in and check the options. if it tells you you can install the os from it then you're in business.

Can I ask what it was about XP that bothers you? If its a simple annoyance its most likely fixable, and would give you a much more up-to-date OS
