the computer on start up loads up fine to the windows 98 icon but after that it goes to a blue screen that says windows has been terminated. I am wondering if the computer is trash or can this be fixed.

did the computer work before? maybe you have a virus..

There r 2 option for u for this problem.
(1) U can start ur pc in safe mode by pressing f8 key on startup and reinstall windows 98. (2) If your pc is not able to start in safe mode then, you have to boot ur pc with bootable disk then reinstall windows on ur pc. |

it is may be a hardware problem
remove ram from the computer, clean it and re install it. go to the safe mode check the startups. remove unnecessary startup items. |
