My old HP desktop runs ME. I have stuff I need to back up before trashing/recycling the CPU. My new Dell laptop has Vista. I'd like to get a storage device of some sort but want it to be compatible with both. Speed is not a priority (I don't foresee having to access it much), but ease of use is; preferably something that connects via a USB port. Don't need a ton of memory, as the old computer's files are just under 15 GB; I figure the standard 250 GB or so will be plenty for future use. Any recommendations on an external drive that would fit these specifications? Windows ME is the toughest part; does anyone know of a device compatible (or one that at least has a downloadable driver)?
