Default what are the booting files used in windows 98 and windows XP??

please list the files used for booting on both windows 98, XP in order.
Im a LINUX user, I want this answer for my assignment so pls tel me the correct answer!!

Create bootable floppy disk then open it and list them yourself without asking!

hmm... perhaps you should learn a little more about how windows works before you ask questions like this...

you could go to start > run and type "msconfig" (no quotes) if you're using xp. that will show you some things, but judging from the level of intellect displayed in your post, you wont know what to do with them.

please elaborate WHY you need them and then maybe i can help.
