you have to contact virgin and confirm a registration number or a pin number or something to them.

you will need to buy a wireless router for virgin med buy a netgear one works every time and easy to set up too.then try turn on your wireless on the laptop.
go deal on the go at pcworld and comet

probably you need your virgin broadband wireless connection settings , you need your wep key , and stuff , presuming that you have a router allready set up ?
