That would be a down grade. Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and then Vista (2006 ? ) and you can only have one one your PC. Still running XP without problems.
Peace. |

that's not an upgrade, that's a downgrade. Upgrading means to improve it.

Microsoft Licensing agreement for Windows Vista permits to downgrade from either Windows Vista Business Edition or Windows Vista Ultimate Edition to Windows XP Professional.
Hence it is not possible to downgrade to Windows 95. Good Luck ![]() |

First of all, it's DOWNGRADE, not upgrade, since 95 is waaaay older than vista. I'm not sure how to dual boot, but I know you can create a VM (virtual machine) using VMware. It basically creates a virtual computer with any operating system you want, even Linux or Mac OS!

Vista is for new computers, it will not work on old onesw
XP is for a few years old computers 95 is for really old computers. so forget it. |

1 - it's impossible to dual boot Vista and Win 95/98 - their boot managers are incompatible.
2 - even if you could force them to dual boot, Win 95 will not function, it's an antiquity totally incompatible with the new hardware (it doesn't have support even for USB). 3 - if you really want to ditch Vista and dual boot, the correct way is as follows: a - install Ubuntu following http://apcmag.com/how_to_dualboot_vista_with_linux_linux_is_already_ installed.htm b - install Wine in Ubuntu - it's in the repositories, use Synaptic to find and automatically install it c - install the program designed for Win 95 in Wine and run it. But i suggest you to completely ditch Vista and switch to http://www.mandriva.com/en/product/mandriva-linux-one |
