is there drivers I need to update and if so where do I get them? buddy if you can't answer my question, don't waste my time please. it's 2am!!!! jarhead, update through MS?? I tried updating my firmware, but I'm not on the main computer. any suggestions? one more thing. I even tried hooking directly into the ethernet minus the router. It says connected, but will not go online? hey! thanks to both of your for your help but at 6 am this morning I was finally able to get connected to the internet without using wireless. It took an update of the motherboard drivers. Problem solved! |

Run your update check through MS, and then make sure that your Firmware is updated through the Router, Some Programs and Hardware do not work with the x64Bit OS, Check with your manufacturer to see if they have the update needed, then follow the steps I gave you to update through Microsoft's Site, they may have it under the "Other" Section of Updates after it scans the PC, and the Router came with a IP Address, that when you go to, it list the configurations, and the last choice on the left column should be "Update Firmware", follow the prompts through there, Hope this helps you and Good Luck
