Default windows xp 64 bit?

I am running windows xp home edition 32 bit and want to get xp 64 bit how do i install it??

in order to install a 64 bit operating system you need to have a 64 bit processor, the operating system is installed the same way as any other windows xp, Make sure its Windows XP Professional 64 bit edition. Tell me what processor you have, it doesnt really matter just so you know that Windows is installed the same way as X86.

you need a chip set with 64 bit.

Install fresh, 64-bit is wholly incompatible to 32-bit from the registry and on, especially drivers.

Other than that, install it like a normal OS.
