Default I have some "lost" files (Windows XP). Anyone could help me?

Yesterday I accidentally dragged a folder and dropped it instantly and I thought it was OK, because I saw it in the same path. But today I realized that it's empty.
I started a search with the windows explorer and there they were my files. But the Folder column says "My PC". And the tooltiptext on the files says: "///E:/Pacific/Version/File.doc" (that's not the actual name, it's just an example, but I'm spelling it correctly.. and "E:\Pacific" it's the actual path of my empty folder).
I can't put that path on any other windows explorer window, to see my files, because it tries to open an internet explorer file, I don't know why. And I can't see or open my files, only on my search result window.
Please, anyone knows how can I get my files back? Thank you

P.S. I can't restore my system because I made big changes in some of my projects, yesterday.

Default

PC Restoring will not alter files or move them back to where they were before.
