These are virtual drives - not hard drives like C: (the root), and a: (if you have a floppy drive), d: (if you have a CD-ROM drive.

When you install an external device like a flashdrive, your computer's OS will select a drive for it. If you do not have any external devices, you have no need for additional drives.
