Erm, I'm sharing a laptop with my mother. I just decided to create my own user account. But I find that whatever I do in my personal account, it also changes in my mother's account. Example: I delete a file that doesn't belong to me on my account, and on my mother's it also disappears.
What can I do to stop this? I want my own account and be able to add and delete files without affecting my mother's account. Help me please. |

No matter what you do, that is going to happen because you two are both sharing the same har drive so what you can do is moveall the files from your mother you dont want onto a file and then on that file just store in your documents labeled moms files and then forget about that file and if she ever put up a new file, put it right in that file to get rid if it without deleating it. If you need any other ideas, please feel free to contact me.
