...fix this without reformatting? I formatted the external hard drive in Windows Vista. I moved all my files onto the external and formatted my computer's hard drive and installed XP. Now I can't read my external hard drive in XP, only on Windows Vista OS. Would it be possible to make it able to be read without me formatting the external drive?
