Go to www.killdisk.com and download their disk formatting software - it'll make a bootable floppy or CD that you can use to start your laptop with and then format your hard drive - it bypasses the operating system - you may need to get to bios to set up where your laptop boots to - try it without getting into that first - it should work as normal - once you're booted on the killdisk media - you'll be able to format your hard drive and wipe off any problems - then recover your system, should be good as new.
