Default Dell desktop computer Windows XP help!?

My computer is very slow and always freezes so I've deleted all the useless programs and old files. I have McAfee though. I have 4 accounts but I barely ever use 2 out of 4 so I want to delete those 2 accounts. When I try to delete the account, it doesn't delete. It sort of just presses down and stays like that. How do I fix it and usually how long does it take to delete an account?

Well if it is running slow and freezes than you might have a virus somewhere in the computer. You might want to try running a virus scan on your C drive. Then go to All programs>Accessories>System tools>Disk cleanup. When disk clean up is done, try disk defragmenter.
